Shypappy, you're welcome here. Just don't try and get tea at Mel Gibson's father's house!

Earl Grey or Orange Pekoe? And did you know that Orange Pekoe is actually just a SIZE of tea leaves, and not anything to do with real oranges?

Andyman, I assume you wore hand-me-downs from your brothers... At least I always got my own room.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Chet, I was #6. Total hand-me-down kid. In everything! My first bike was a reworked Schwinn that belonged to my oldest brother. I had to share it with brother #5.

My sister is #8. Being the only girl she was SPOILED rotten! She got away with murder.

Clipper ships are called that because they carried tea clippings fast from the Orient.

All teas are from the same type of bush, the only difference is where they're grown and how they're processed (as opposed to coffee, which has two genetically different versions).

Never make tea with water that has been standing, the sediments make it bitter.

All these things, and more, learned from watching Good Eats on FoodTV.

Now herbal "tea", that's a whole new ball game.
    Whiffle ball, to be exact.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Does that mean river water as opposed to lake water? Or water in a pot as opposed to running water? Seems like sediments would settle to the bottom in standing water.
